Terms of Service: Hancock Photography

1. Booking & Retainer A non-refundable retainer of 25% is required to reserve your session date. By submitting your non-refundable retainer/deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the Terms of Service outlined below. Payment constitutes a legally binding agreement between the Client and Hancock Photography for the services described. This retainer covers the Photographer’s time and effort to prepare for the session and secures your slot on the calendar. The remaining balance is due at the conclusion of the session time.

2. 4-Day Expedited Delivery We pride ourselves on speed! The Photographer will deliver a curated gallery of professionally edited, high-resolution digital images within 4 business days of the session date.

  • Note: Delivery occurs via google drive and will be hosted for 7 business days. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.

3. Artistry & Raw Files The Photographer performs all culling and editing to maintain a consistent professional standard. Only final, edited images will be released. No raw or unedited files will be provided to the Client under any circumstances.

4. Studio & Location Policies

  • Studio: The Client is responsible for any damage to studio equipment, backdrops, or furniture caused by the Client or their party.

  • On-Location: The Client is responsible for any venue/permit fees required for the shoot. In the event of inclement weather (Photographer’s discretion), the session will be rescheduled at the earliest mutual convenience.

  • Late Arrival: Session times are firm. If the Client is late, that time is deducted from the shooting window.

5. Rescheduling & Cancellations Cancellations result in the forfeiture of the retainer. Clients may reschedule once with at least 24 hours' notice without penalty. Late rescheduling may require a new retainer fee.

6. Usage Rights & Model Release The Photographer grants the Client a Personal Use License. You may print, share, and post your photos for non-commercial purposes. The Photographer retains the right to use images for portfolio, marketing, and social media. If you wish to opt-out of the model release for privacy reasons, please notify the Photographer in writing prior to the session.

7. Liability Limit The Photographer is not liable for injuries sustained during the session. If the Photographer is unable to perform due to illness or emergency, all fees (including retainer) will be refunded, and the Photographer shall have no further liability.
